Damara Living Museum

The Damara Living Museum near Twyfelfontein showcases the traditional lifestyle, culture, and crafts of the Damara people. Visitors can experience demonstrations of blacksmithing, fire-making, and traditional dances. It offers a unique insight into one of Namibia’s oldest cultures.

Petrified Forest

The Petrified Forest in Namibia is a national monument near Khorixas, featuring 280-million-year-old fossilized tree trunks. These ancient logs turned to stone through a natural process over millions of years. The site also hosts the unique Welwitschia plant, known for its longevity.

Brandberg

Palmwag Concession

Twyfelfontein

Twyfelfontein, meaning "doubtful fountain," is a valley in Namibia’s Damara Highlands, about 70 km west of Khorixas. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for thousands of ancient San rock engravings over 6,000 years old. The area also features unique geological formations like the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain.

Vingerklip

Vingerklip, or "Finger Rock," is a striking 35-meter sandstone monolith located between Outjo and Khorixas in northwestern Namibia. It’s a popular natural landmark formed by erosion of ancient sedimentary layers. Nearby Vingerklip Lodge offers accommodations and nature activities for visitors.
