This peaceful mode of travel brings you within arm’s reach of flamingos, pelicans, Cape Fur seals, and Heaviside’s and Benguela dolphins—all without disturbing them.

How the Tour Works
The adventure begins at 07:45 a.m., with a pick-up at Dolphin Café, located at the Walvis Bay Tourist Harbor. From there, Jeanne—your guide and experienced kayak leader—drives the group (2 to 12 guests) out to the remote Pelican Point sandspit. After a safety briefing and quick orientation, it’s time to hit the water.

The kayaking portion lasts around 2 to 2.5 hours, and both single and double kayaks are available. No prior kayaking experience is needed—just a sense of adventure and a love for nature. Jeanne ensures everyone is safe and comfortable throughout the journey.
