Henora Travel and Safari

By booking a tour with Henora Travel and Safari, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
1. Bookings & Reservations

A booking is confirmed once we receive a completed booking form (online or email) and the required deposit.

All reservations are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

Full details of each traveler (name, nationality, passport details) must be provided for bookings.
2. Payments
-
A deposit of [insert % e.g., 30%] of the total tour cost is required to secure a booking.

The balance must be paid no later than [e.g., 30 days] before the tour start date.

If booking is made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
3. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing.

Cancellation charges apply as follows:

If a booking for a Scheduled Group Tour is cancelled, the client is subject to a cancellation fee as follows:
-
up to 28 days (4 weeks) before departure: 30% of the tour price
-
27 to 14 days before departure: 50% of the tour price
-
13 to 7 days before departure: 75% of the tour price
-
less than 7 days before departure: 90% of the tour price
-
If a booking for a Private Safari, such as a private guided safari, fly-in safari or self-drive tour, is cancelled, the client is subject to a cancellation fee as follows:

up to 90 days prior to departure: 30% of the tour price

89 to 45 days prior to departure: 50% of the tour price
-
less than 45 days prior to departure: 90% of the tour price
-
Certain services (flights, special lodges) may have stricter cancellation policies.
-
No refunds will be given for unused portions of a tour once it has started.
4. Changes by Henora Travel
-
We reserve the right to make minor changes to itineraries (e.g., hotel substitutions, route adjustments) if necessary for safety or operational reasons.

In the rare case of major changes (e.g., destination change), we will inform you as soon as possible and provide alternatives.
5. Traveler Responsibilities
-
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and vaccinations (if required).

Henora Travel is not responsible for delays or costs due to missing documentation.
-
Travelers must follow the instructions of guides and respect wildlife and local cultures.
6. Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellations, personal belongings, and emergency evacuation is strongly recommended.

Henora Travel is not liable for loss, injury, or damages during the tour.
7. Health & Safety

Some tours may involve long drives, walking safaris, or exposure to heat/dust. Travelers should be in reasonable health.

Please inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
8. Liability

Henora Travel acts as an agent for hotels, lodges, transport companies, and other suppliers.

We are not responsible for accidents, delays, loss, or damages caused by third-party providers.
-
Our liability is limited to the tour price paid to Henora Travel.
9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or political unrest.
10. Governing Law
-
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Namibia.

Any disputes will be subject to Namibian jurisdiction.
